Saint David's Day - Kids English

Friday was Saint David's Day.

The Kids English Groups spent their lessons learning about this day and its significance in British culture.

Saint David is the patron saint of Wales - one of the countries within the United Kingdom.

Our Kids English group made daffodils, as this is the national flower of Wales.  They also did finger-paintings of sheep because Wales is the most important sheep farming region of Europe.

All the children really enjoyed their lesson and went home with some new vocabulary and knowledge of Saint David and Wales.
